Welcome to the 3rd posting of PLAY –
LEARNING material.
This is aimed at making the more academic
parts of the blog easily digestible.
On the segment,
we would have a variety of topics from humour to poetry to music to toys to
fashion to whatever else catches our fancy. However each topic or issue treated
would reinforce the message of CREATIVITY and INNOVATION.
TODAY’S PLAYLIST – "A Crash Course in Creativity" (PUBLIC PRESENTATION)
Dr. Tina Seelig,
a lecturer at Stanford University, US, makes a presentation which is at once
engaging and exciting. She posits that creativity is a result of a mix of CULTURE,
HABITAT, ATTITUDE, IMAGINATION, RESOURCES and KNOWLEDGE all interacting at
different levels.
When she says we
should challenge assumptions, I would have loved if she had tied this up to being
INQUISITIVE. You build up imagination faster by being INQUISITIVE.
WATCH AND
REFLECT.
