NaijaGRAPHITTI – One Year Later

NaijaGRAPHITTI is ONE YEAR today!
This has turned out to be an adrenaline-charged undertaking.
Before going any further, we would like to appreciate you the readers who have been our greatest motivation and achievement. A big THANK YOU for being there for us.
The main aim of the blog was to challenge Nigerian people to be creative and innovative. This was premised on the fact that the blog would become a platform for learning and interaction as it publishes ideas, concepts and lessons sharing which foster creativity and innovation in the in the public sphere.
Researches establish that people could be challenged, stimulated and incentivized to become more creative and more innovative. NaijaGRAPHITTI has set the stage to challenge, stimulate and incentivize people to be innovative and creative across all walks of life, to promote the importance of creative thinking and innovation, showing people that they could adopt creative thinking and innovation to improve quality of life.
This past year has been very revealing and insightful.
Of course, the bulk of the time has been taken up by researching, content development and curating complementary materials. With the discovery that there are not many didactic channels which promote lessons learning and knowledge sharing in innovation and creativity, the blog has had to first and foremost start with gathering and processing fundamental lessons sharing content.
We have made changes mid-stream, altering the blog home page view to be more visually exciting, reader friendly and swapping sections of the blog on occasions. At a time, we added more sections to increase our appeal to a diverse group of readers and phased out other sections. Noteworthy is the section on photography.
When we realized many excellent blogs are already handling the subject, we threw our support behind blogs and outlets we could partner with and excluded photography from NaijaGRAPHITTI. In its place, we introduced the @iAfrica dispatch, to handle material analysis which examines and e-rays international news, events and political development across the African continent.
The most profound change was the introduction of GRAPHITTI NEWS. This has become a runaway success.
It turns out a lot of busy readers, who did not have much down time to spend online have benefited from having a news summary at just one page turn from their learning on the blog.
How has NaijaGRAPHITTI served your needs and stimulated your interest in creativity and innovation? Write in and let us know!
We look forward to an even more exciting year ahead.
We are most grateful to our Lead and Director – HSoTLG.
